Terms of Service — AstroBella Astrology for ChatGPT

These terms govern your use of AstroBella Astrology, an app for ChatGPT operated by Moonphase Apps GmbH. It is free, requires no account, and computes astrology charts on our own server.

They cover the AstroBella Astrology app for ChatGPT and the server behind it at https://astro-mcp.astrobella.com/mcp.

They do not cover the AstroBella mobile app or website, which are separate products with their own terms at astrobella.com/terms — those deal with accounts, subscriptions and in-app purchases, none of which exist here. They also do not cover ChatGPT itself, which you use under your own agreement with OpenAI.

By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.

3. What the service does

On request, the app computes astrological data — natal charts, planetary positions, moon phases, transits and chart comparisons — from an astronomical ephemeris bundled with the server, and renders charts as interactive graphics.

Positions are accurate to roughly an arcminute over the supported date range. The app states its own accuracy limits and says when a missing birth time makes parts of a chart unavailable. We do not warrant that any figure is correct for any particular purpose, and the accuracy of a chart depends entirely on the accuracy of the birth data you supply.

5. Cost, availability and changes

The app is provided free of charge. There is no account, no subscription and no payment of any kind, and therefore no billing, renewal or cancellation.

We provide it as it is and as it happens to be available. We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue it, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, and we do not guarantee any particular uptime, response time or continued availability.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the server for automated bulk querying, load testing, scraping or any use outside normal interactive use through ChatGPT;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the server, probe or disrupt it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it;
• submit another person's birth data unless you may properly do so;
• use the app for any unlawful purpose.

We may block requests or restrict access where this is necessary to keep the service running or to prevent abuse.

7. Your data

Birth data you send is used to compute the answer and then discarded. It is not stored, not logged and not passed to anyone. What we do and do not process is set out in full in our privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property

The server, its source code, the chart rendering, the widgets and the AstroBella name and branding belong to Moonphase Apps GmbH and are not licensed to you beyond using the app as intended. The astronomical results themselves — the positions and dates the app computes — are facts, and you may use them freely.

9. Third parties

The app is reached through ChatGPT, operated by OpenAI. We have no control over ChatGPT, over how it decides to call the app, or over how it presents the results, and we are not responsible for it. Links to the AstroBella app or website lead to separate products with their own terms.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).

For slight negligence we are liable only where a material contractual obligation is breached — an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely — and then only for foreseeable damage typical of this kind of agreement.

Any further liability is excluded. This clause also applies in favour of our staff and agents.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.

Where permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Oldenburg, Germany. The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top says when it last changed.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remainder stays in force.
